In addition, the embodiment provides a method, capable of preparing a higher quality diisocyanate composition and optical lens by controlling a moisture content in the diamine hydrochloride composition for preparing diisocyanate within a specific range. 구현예는 디아민으로부터 디아민 염산염을 거쳐 디이소시아네이트를 제조하는 과정에서, 염화수소 가스 대신 염산 수용액을 이용하고 포스겐 가스 대신 고상의 트리포스겐을 이용할 수 있다. 또한, 구현예는 디이소시아네이트 제조를 위한 디아민 염산염 조성물 내의 수분 함량을 특정 범위 내로 조절함으로써, 보다 고품질의 디이소시아네이트 조성물 및 광학 렌즈를 제조할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다.
