METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEARCHING TERMINAL

The present invention relates to a terminal search method and an apparatus therefor. The terminal search method includes the following steps of: allocating a global unique temporary identifier (GUTI) to a request terminal and a target terminal by a mobility management entity (MME), individually; allocating an E-UTRAN cell global identifier (ECGI) to the request terminal and the target terminal by a base station, individually; registering the request terminal and the target terminal by a terminal search server; transmitting a first search request for the target terminal to the terminal search server by the request terminal; transmitting a location information request of the target terminal to the target terminal by the terminal search server; transmitting a location information response to the search server by the target terminal; selecting the MME to be inquired based on a mobility management entity group identifier (MMEGI) and a mobility management entity code (MMEC) by the terminal search server; transmitting an inquiry request of an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) for each ECGI to the MME by the terminal search server; transmitting an inquiry response of the IMSI to the ECGI to the terminal search server by the MME; transmitting a second search request for the target terminal to a multimedia message server center (MMSC) by the terminal search server; transmitting the second search request to one or more neighboring terminals of the target terminal by the MMSC; and transmitting a second search response to the request terminal by the MMSC.
