Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is a method for manufacturing chalcogenide glass of Ge, Sb, and Se. The method includes a purification step and a synthesis step of melting and synthesizing a mixture of Ge, Sb, and Se. In the purification step, first to third glass containers connected in a reverse order to a vacuum pump are prepared. In a state in which Se is accommodated in the first glass container and Ge and Sb are accommodated in the third glass container, the first glass container is heated and the primary distillation for moving Se to the second glass container is performed. And then, the second glass container is heated and the secondary distillation for moving Se to the third glass container is performed.
