Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an engine cylinder block of a vehicle, capable of handling high-output/high-torque of an engine through an improvement in tensile strength, yield strength and elongation percentage by applying precision sand casting (PSC) technology. According to the present invention, the method of manufacturing an engine cylinder block of a vehicle using precision sand casting (PSC) includes a top mold, a bottom mold, a front mold and a rear mold. An RH side mold, an LH side mold, an RH crank core, an RH bore core, an LH bore core, an RH side core mold, an LH side core mold, a crank chill, and a V-bank mold, corresponding to the shape of a cylinder block, are stored in a space formed by the top mold, the bottom mold, the front mold and the rear mold. A sand-casting mold, from which dissolved oxides and impurities have been completely removed through forward/reverse rotation, is used to manufacture the cylinder block.
본 발명은 정밀 사형 주조법(Precision Sand Casting, PSC) 기술을 적용하여 인장강도, 항복강도 및 연신율을 향상하여 엔진의 고출력 고토크화에 대응할 수 있는 자동차의 엔진 실린더 블록을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 정밀사형주조(PSC)를 이용한 자동차의 엔진 실린더 블록의 제조방법은, 상부몰드(Top Mold)와 하부몰드(Bottom Mold), 전방몰드(Front Mold)와 후방몰드(Rear Mold)를 포함하며, 상기 상부몰드(Top Mold)와 하부몰드(Bottom Mold), 전방몰드(Front Mold)와 후방몰드(Rear Mold)가 이루는 공간 내부에 실린더 블록의 형태와 대응하는 RH Side Mold, LH Side Mold, RH Crank Core, RH Bore Core, LH Bore Core, RH Side core Mold, LH Side core Mold, Crank Chill, V-Bank Mold 등이 수용되고, 정방향/역방향으로 회전하여 용존된 산화물 및 불순물을 완전히 제거한 주형(Sand Casting Mold)를 이용하여 실린더 블록을 제조하는 것을 특징으로 한다. |
