The present invention relates to a bending device and bending method, and more specifically to, a bending device and bending method, which inhibit or prevent damage to a bending object. A bending device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a stage for supporting one side of a plate-shaped bending object; a movable body selectively connected to the other side of the bending object; a movement trajectory setting unit for setting a movement trajectory of a movable object for bending the bending object; and a bending driving unit for moving the movable body based on the moving trajectory of the movable body. 본 발명은 벤딩 장치 및 벤딩 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 벤딩 대상체의 손상을 억제 또는 방지하는 벤딩 장치 및 벤딩 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 벤딩 장치는 판상의 벤딩 대상체의 일측부를 지지하는 스테이지; 상기 벤딩 대상체의 타측부에 선택적으로 연결되는 이동체; 상기 벤딩 대상체의 벤딩을 위한 상기 이동체의 이동 궤도를 설정하는 이동궤도 설정부; 및 상기 이동체의 이동 궤도를 기반으로 상기 이동체를 이동시키는 벤딩 구동부;를 포함할 수 있다.
