Smart Gait Simulator for Elderly Healthcare

The present invention relates to a smart walking simulator which provides a three-dimensional (3D) virtual reality (VR) space with high immersion and interactivity while overcoming spatiotemporal limitations of walking/balance tests and walking/balance training to increase usability. According to the present invention, the smart walking simulator comprises: a virtual walking environment providing unit providing an environment in which a subject can experience walking in a VR space by walking in place; a walking analysis unit collecting and analyzing signals detected while the subject walks in place to calculate a walking evaluation parameter and a balance evaluation parameter of the subject; a health evaluation unit evaluating the subject's health status on the basis of the subject's walking evaluation parameter and balance evaluation parameter; and a walking training unit generating a program for walking and balance training of the subject on the basis of the subject's health status. 본 발명은 보행 및 균형 검사와 보행 및 균형 훈련의 시공간적 제약을 극복함과 동시에 몰입감과 상호작용성이 높은 3차원 가상현실 공간을 제공해 사용성을 향상시킨 스마트 보행 시뮬레이터에 관한 것이다. 스마트 보행 시뮬레이터는 대상자가 제자리 걸음을 수행함으로써 가상현실 공간 속에서의 보행을 체험할 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 가상 환경 보행 제공부; 상기 대상자가 제자리 걸음을 수행하는 동안 감지되는 신호를 수집 및 분석하여 상기 대상자의 보행 평가 파라미터 및 균형 평가 파라미터를 산출하는 보행 분석부; 상기 대상자의 보행 평가 파라미터 및 균형 평가 파라미터를 기초로 상기 대상자의 건강 상태를 평가하는 건강 평가부; 및 상기 대상자의 건강 상태에 기초하여 상기 대상자의 보행 및 균형 훈련을 위한 프로그램을 생성하는 보행 훈련부를 포함한다.
