Method of managing copyright of content

A method for managing copyrights of content is disclosed. According to the present invention, in a server which manages the copyrights of the content, the method for managing the copyrights of content includes: receiving, by the server, first content from a user terminal; extracting, by the server, unique information of the first content; searching for, by the server, second content which at least partially matches or is similar to the first content by using the unique information of the first content; and providing the user terminal with information on the use and profit of copyright of the second content, when the second content is found.
