Neural Processing Unit and Electronic Device Including the Same

An electronic device is provided. According to some embodiments, an electronic device includes: a memory including a plurality of hardware images and a plurality of weight information; and a neural processing unit which processes data according to the weight information and outputs a recognition result when receiving application information and data from outside, wherein the neural processing unit includes a field programmable gate array which processes data by reconfiguring a gate array according to the hardware image corresponding to application information among the plurality of hardware images.
