The present invention provides a food waste care system for a food service which can reduce the material cost. The food waste care system for a food service comprises: a setting unit installed in a main body unit and setting the standard food waste cost; a mounting unit installed in the main body unit and having a food tray accommodating a plurality of supplied food mounted thereon; a food waste cost appropriate judgement unit installed in the main body unit, calculating the estimated food waste cost using the residual weight of waste food remaining among the plurality of food, and comparing the calculated expected food waste cost with the standard food waste cost to calculate a comparison result; and a display unit installed in the main body unit and displaying the comparison result. 본 발명은 본체부에 설치되며, 기준 음식물 폐기 비용이 설정되는 설정부; 상기 본체부에 설치되며, 공급되는 다수의 음식물이 수용된 식판이 안착되는 안착부; 상기 본체부에 설치되며, 상기 다수의 음식물 중 잔존하는 폐 음식물 잔존 무게를 사용하여 예상 음식물 폐기비용을 산출하고, 산출된 상기 예상 음식물 폐기비용과 상기 기준 음식물 폐기비용을 비교하여 비교 결과를 산출하는 음식물 폐기비용 적정 판단부; 및, 상기 본체부에 설치되며, 상기 비교 결과를 표시하는 디스플레이 부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 급식용 잔반 케어 시스템을 제공한다.
