Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a device and method for detecting a vein. The device for detecting the vein comprises: a power management unit supplying and managing power to a device; a vein detection unit recognizing vein information using near-infrared rays; a central control unit processing the vein information and controlling the device; and a miniature projection unit outputting the processed vein information as an image.
