Light Emitting Display Device and Driving Method thereof

The present invention comprises a light emitting device which comprises: a display panel having a display area having sub-pixels for displaying an image and a non-display area not displaying an image; and a shift register having signal generation circuit units dispersedly disposed in the display area of the display panel and for outputting a signal for turning on or off a transistor included in the sub-pixels. Although the signal generation circuit units are spaced apart from each other in the display area, they can simultaneously output a plurality of signals for driving the sub-pixels arranged on the same horizontal line. 본 발명은 영상을 표시하기 위한 서브 픽셀들을 갖는 표시영역과 영상을 비표시하는 비표시영역을 갖는 표시패널 및 표시패널의 표시영역 내에 분산 배치되고 서브 픽셀들에 포함된 트랜지스터를 턴온 또는 턴오프하기 위한 신호를 출력하는 신호 발생회로부들을 갖는 시프트 레지스터를 포함하는 발광표시장치를 제공한다. 신호 발생회로부들은 표시영역 내에서 서로 이격 배치되더라도 동일한 수평라인에 배치된 서브 픽셀들을 구동하기 위한 신호를 각각 동시에 다수 출력할 수 있다.
