More particularly, the present invention relates to a novel organic compound that can be used as a material for a light emitting layer, a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron blocking layer or the like, as an organic compound having a narrow emission spectrum and a half maximum width, and to an organic electroluminescent device including the same. 본 발명은 유기 화합물 및 이를 포함하는 유기 전계 발광 소자에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 좁은 발광 스펙트럼 및 반치폭을 가지는 유기화합물로서 발광층, 정공 주입층, 정공 수송층 또는 전자 차단층 재료 등으로 사용될 수 있는 신규 유기 화합물 및 이를 포함하는 유기 전계 발광 소자에 관한 것이다.
