Zusammenfassung:Provided are a pigment composition, a cosmetic composition, and an inkjet ink composition which have a smaller average dispersion particle size of titanium oxide particles as a pigment than conventional ones and showing good dispersibility and excellent production efficiency. According to the present invention, a pigment composition comprises: a pigment made of titanium oxide particles having a hydrophilic surface; a pigment dispersant for the titanium oxide particles made of sodium polyacrylate that has a mass average molecular weight of less than 10,000; and a dispersion medium capable of dispersing the titanium oxide particles and made of propylene glycol and water alone. The propylene glycol has a blending ratio to the dispersion medium (propylene glycol/dispersion medium) within the 0.5/1-0.9/1 range on a mass basis. 종래보다, 안료인 산화티탄 입자의 평균 분산 입자경이 작고, 양호한 분산성을 나타내며, 제조 효율이 우수한 안료 조성물, 화장품 조성물 및 잉크젯용 잉크 조성물을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 안료 조성물은, 표면이 친수성의 산화티탄 입자로 이루어지는 안료와, 질량 평균 분자량이 10000 미만인 폴리아크릴산나트륨으로 이루어지는 상기 산화티탄 입자의 안료 분산제와, 상기 산화티탄 입자를 분산시키며, 프로필렌글리콜과 물만으로 이루어지는 분산매를 포함하고, 상기 분산매에 대한 상기 프로필렌글리콜의 배합비(프로필렌글리콜/분산매)가, 질량 기준으로 0.5/1~0.9/1의 범위 내인 것을 특징으로 한다.
