Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are an electronic device and a method for controlling the electronic device. The present disclosure relates to the method for controlling the electronic device, which comprises the following steps of: receiving multiple coordinate information of an object sensed by a plurality of sensors included in the electronic device; selecting at least three coordinate information of the object commonly sensed by the sensors among the received multiple coordinate information; matching sensing areas of each sensor based on the at least three selected coordinate information; allowing the sensors to perform cooperative detection on the matched sensing areas; and controlling operation of an air conditioner based on a moving path of the object sensed by the electronic device. 전자 장치 및 전자 장치의 제어 방법이 개시된다. 본 개시는 전자 장치에 포함된 복수의 센서가 감지한 객체에 대한 복수의 좌표 정보를 수신하고, 수신한 복수의 좌표 정보 중 복수의 센서에서 공통적으로 감지하는 객체에 대한 적어도 세 개의 좌표 정보를 선택하고, 선택된 적어도 세 개의 좌표 정보에 기초하여 복수의 센서 각각의 감지 영역을 정합하고, 복수의 센서가 정합된 감지 영역에 협조 탐지를 수행하고, 전자 장치가 감지한 객체의 이동 경로에 기초하여 공조기의 동작을 제어하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
