Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a signal control system for preventing tail biting, comprising: a camera unit generating image information by photographing road conditions; an image processing unit analyzing image information to determine whether or not a vehicle tail is being bitten, and generating a warning signal when the vehicle is in a tail biting state as a result of the determination; and a signal control unit controlling the traffic light installed on the road when the warning signal is transmitted. According to the present invention, a tail biting situation at an intersection can be effectively prevented without the intervention of a traffic police officer. 본 발명은 꼬리물기 방지를 위한 신호 제어 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 도로 상황을 촬영하여 영상정보를 생성하는 카메라부; 상기 영상정보를 분석하여 차량의 꼬리물기 여부를 판단하며, 판단결과 차량이 꼬리물기 상태인 경우 경고신호를 생성하는 영상처리부; 및 상기 경고신호가 전달되는 경우 상기 도로에 설치된 신호등을 제어하는 신호제어부를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 교통경찰의 투입 없이도, 교차로의 꼬리물기 상황이 효과적으로 방지될 수 있다.
