VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

Provided are a vehicle capable of automatically moving a vehicle in accordance with a movement request received from another vehicle which has already been parked in case the vehicle is parked around the already parked vehicle, and a control method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle includes: a communication part; a sensing part sensing an external environment; a steering apparatus steering vehicle wheels; a power apparatus delivering power to the vehicle wheels; and a control part, when receiving a movement request and vehicle identification information from another vehicle through the communication part, determining whether the other vehicle has a right over the movement request based on the vehicle identification information and the external environment, and then, controlling the power apparatus and the steering apparatus based on the movement request if the vehicle is determined to have the right. 이미 주차된 다른 차량 주변으로 주차된 경우, 이미 주차된 다른 차량으로부터 수신된 이동 요청에 따라 자동적으로 이동할 수 있는 차량 및 그 제어 방법을 제공한다. 일 실시예에 따른 차량은, 통신부; 외부 환경을 센싱하는 센싱부; 차륜을 조향하는 조향 장치; 차륜에 동력을 전달하는 동력 장치; 및 상기 통신부를 통하여 다른 차량으로부터 차량 식별 정보 및 이동 요청을 수신하는 경우, 상기 외부 환경 및 상기 차량 식별 정보에 기초하여 상기 다른 차량이 상기 이동 요청에 대한 권한을 갖는지 여부를 결정하고, 권한을 갖는 것으로 결정되는 경우 상기 이동 요청에 기초하여 상기 동력 장치 및 상기 조향 장치를 제어하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
