Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage SS1 having a killing ability specific to salmonella, in particular, to Salmonella Senftenberg; an antibiotic composition, fodder-added composition, fodder, disinfectant, or cleaning agent comprising the bacteriophage; and a method for preventing or treating infectious diseases by salmonella, the method comprising a step of administrating the bacteriophage to an entity. According to the method for preventing or treating infectious diseases by salmonella using a bacteriophage SS1 of the present invention, specificity for salmonella is very high compared to conventional chemical substances such as antibiotics, and the bacteriophage SS1 has the advantage of having excellent lytic activities and strong resistance to physicochemical stimulation by infecting salmonella and proliferating within the bacteria. In addition, the bacteriophage SS1 of the present invention does not infect hosts, such as humans, animals, and plants, other than bacteria. Thus, it is possible to solve the problem of antibiotic-resistant bacteria due to the misuse of antibiotics, the problem of residual antibiotics in food, and the problem of a wide host range. Accordingly, bacteriophage SS1 of the present invention can be used variously in the fields of prevention or treatment of infectious diseases caused by salmonella, in particular, by Salmonella Senftenberg, and in the fields of an antibiotic composition, a fodder-added composition, a fodder, a disinfectant, or a cleaning agent. 본 발명은 살모넬라균, 특히 살모넬라 세텐베르그(Salmonella Senftenberg)에 특이적인 사멸능을 갖는 신규 박테리오파지 SS1, 상기 박테리오파지를 포함하는 항생용 조성물, 사료 첨가용 조성물, 사료, 소독제 또는 세척제 및 상기 박테리오파지를 개체에 투여하는 단계를 포함하는 살모넬라균에 의한 감염성 질병의 예방 또는 치료 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 박테리오파지 SS1을 이용한 살모넬라균에 의한 감염성 질병의 예방 또는 치료 방법은 기존의 항생제 등의 화학물질에 비해 살모넬라균에 대한 특이성이 매우 높고, 상기 박테리오파지 SS1은 살모넬라균에 감염하여 균 내에서 증식함으로써 용균 활성이 우수하고 물리화학적 자극에 강하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 본 발명의 박테리오파지 SS1은 사람, 동물, 식물 등 세균 외의 다른 숙주에는 감염되지 않으므로, 항생제의 오남용으로 인한 항생제 내성균의 문제점, 식품 내의 항생제의 잔류 문제, 광범위한 숙주범위의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 박테리오파지 SS1은 살모넬라균, 특히 살모넬라 세텐베르그에 의한 감염성 질병의 예방 또는 치료, 항생용 조성물, 사료 첨가용 조성물, 사료, 소독제, 또는 세척제 분야에서 다양하게 사용될 수 있다.
