Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery and to a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a current collector; and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the current collector and including a negative electrode active material and a cellulose-based compound, wherein the weight average molecular weight (Mw) of the cellulose-based compound is 200,000 to 500,000, the degree of substitution (DS) is 0.6 to 1.1, the adsorption amount of the cellulose-based compound to the negative electrode active material is 0.4 to 0.6 wt%, the content of the cellulose-based compound is 0.8 wt% or less with respect to the total 100 wt% of the negative active material layer, and the tap density of the negative electrode active material is 1.0 g/cc or more. 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지에 관한 것으로서, 상기 리튬 이차 전지용 음극은 전류 집전체 및 상기 전류 집전체에 형성되고, 음극 활물질 및 셀룰로오스계 화합물을 포함하는 음극 활물질층을 포함하고, 상기 셀룰로오스계 화합물의 중량평균분자량(Mw)은 200,000 내지 500,000이고, 치환도(DS)가 0.6 내지 1.1이며, 상기 셀룰로오스계 화합물의 상기 음극 활물질에 대한 흡착량이 0.4 중량% 내지 0.6 중량%이고, 상기 셀룰로오스계 화합물의 함량은 상기 음극 활물질층 전체 100 중량%에 대하여 0.8 중량% 이하이고, 상기 음극 활물질의 탭밀도는 1.0g/cc 이상인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극이다.
