FORMING METHOD FOR VEHICLE BODY MEMBER

Disclosed is a method for forming a vehicle body member. The method for forming a vehicle body member includes: a pipe-forming process of forming a steel pipe by welding a steel plate coil; a non-circular pipe forming process of firstly preforming the steel pipe formed in the pipe-forming step so as to have a cross section having a predetermined shape; a bending process of bending and secondly preforming the steel pipe firstly preformed in the non-circular pipe forming process; and a hot stamping process of heating the secondly preformed steel pipe, inserting the heated steel pipe into a mold to form the same in a desired shape, and then, cooling the heated steel pipe to manufacture the vehicle body member, thereby easily forming the vehicle body member having high rigidity. 차체 멤버 성형방법이 개시된다. 강판 코일을 용접하여 강관을 성형하는 조관 공정; 상기 조관 공정에서 성형된 강관을 소정 형상의 단면을 갖도록 1차 프리 포밍하는 이형관 공정; 상기 이형관 공정에서 1차 프리 포밍된 강관을 벤딩하여 2차 프리 포밍하는 벤딩 공정; 및 상기 2차 프리 포밍된 강관을 가열 후 금형에 삽입하여 소망하는 형상으로 성형한 다음에 급냉시켜 차체 멤버를 제작하는 핫 스탬핑 공정을 포함하여, 고강도의 차체 멤버를 용이하게 성형할 수 있다.
