Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to technology for stabilizing the behavior of a vehicle through steering control of a rear wheel when an operation of RSPA is requested in a driving area in which RWS is operated. According to the present invention, disclosed are a steering control method for a rear wheel steering system and a device therefor, wherein it is determined whether to enter an operation restriction area limiting the operation of a remote smart parking assistance system (RSPA) based on the driving condition of the vehicle, and a rear wheel steering angle is gradually controlled to neutral by the RWS in case of an operation command of the RSPA in the state of entering the operation restriction area. 본 발명은 RWS가 작동되는 운전영역에서 RSPA의 작동 요청시, 후륜의 조향 제어를 통해 차량의 거동을 안정화하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에서는, 차량의 운전조건을 기반으로 RSPA(원격 스마트 주차 보조시스템)의 작동을 제한하는 작동제한영역에 진입하는지 판단하고; 상기 작동제한영역에 진입한 상태에서 RSPA의 작동명령시, RWS에 의해 후륜 조향각을 점진적으로 중립으로 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 후륜조향시스템의 조향 제어방법 및 장치가 소개된다.
