The present disclosure relates to an ECU protection circuit, an electronic control unit and a steering assist system. Specifically, the ECU protection circuit according to the present disclosure includes: a Zener diode that allows a reverse current to flow when the phase voltage of a steering motor is more than a preset breakdown voltage; and a first switch that is turned on when the reverse current is applied and allows a first current to flow; and a second switch that is turned on when the first current flows and allows a second current to flow so that voltage supplied from a battery can be conducted to a PCO switch.
