Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a navigation system and a route search method thereof which search for an optimal driving route in which single driving and platooning are possible. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the navigation system comprises a vehicle capable of following driving and a service server. The service server includes: a communication unit to perform communication with the vehicle and receive traffic information; a database to store platooning information received by the communication unit; and a processor to generate a driving route based on the traffic information and the platooning information in accordance with a route search request of the vehicle. 본 발명은 내비게이션 시스템 및 그의 경로 탐색 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 내비게이션 시스템은 추종 주행이 가능한 차량, 및 서비스 서버를 포함하고, 상기 서비스 서버는 상기 차량과 통신을 수행하며 교통정보를 수신하는 통신부, 상기 통신부에 의해 수신되는 군집주행정보를 저장하는 데이터베이스, 및 상기 차량의 경로 탐색 요청에 따라 상기 교통정보 및 상기 군집주행정보에 기초하여 주행경로를 생성하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
