Composition for preventing or treating paclitaxel resistant ovarian cancer comprising arsenic trioxide and platinum based anticancer drug

The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating paclitaxel-resistant ovarian cancer including arsenic trioxide and a platinum-based anticancer agent as active ingredients. According to the present invention, arsenic trioxide inhibits the survival rate of paclitaxel-reactive and paclitaxel-resistant ovarian cancer cell strains and induces apoptosis to show an anticancer effect. Particularly, when arsenic trioxide is administered in combination with cisplatin in the paclitaxel-resistant ovarian cancer cell strain, an anticancer synergic effect is obtained even with a small concentration. Therefore, arsenic trioxide and a platinum-based anticancer agent having the above-mentioned effects can be used advantageously as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating paclitaxel-resistant ovarian cancer, or the like. 본 발명은 삼산화비소 및 백금계 항암제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 파클리탁셀 내성 난소암 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 삼산화비소는 파클리탁셀 반응성 및 파클리탁셀 내성 난소암 세포주의 생존율을 억제하고 세포사멸을 유도하여 항암 효과를 나타내며, 특히 파클리탁셀 내성 난소암 세포주에서 시스플라틴과 병용 투여 시, 적은 농도를 사용하여도 항암 시너지 효과를 나타내는 바, 상기와 같은 효과를 가지는 삼산화비소 및 백금계 항암제는 파클리탁셀 내성 난소암 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물 등으로 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
