| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an air conditioner which includes an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, and a refrigerant pipe provided between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit. The outdoor unit includes: a compressor that compresses a refrigerant; an outdoor heat exchanger that condenses the compressed refrigerant; and a first subcooler that expands a part of the condensed refrigerant to supercool the condensed refrigerant. The indoor unit includes: an expansion valve for expanding the refrigerant delivered from the outdoor unit through the pipe; and an indoor heat exchanger to evaporate the expanded refrigerant. The air conditioner includes a second subcooler provided in a pipe and expands a part of the refrigerant transferred from the first subcooler to the expansion valve to supercool the transferred refrigerant.
