Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a charging and billing system for an electric vehicle and, more specifically, to a charging and billing system for an electric vehicle which automatically recognizes a license plate of an electric vehicle to automatically charge an amount by a charging amount. Therefore, the charging and billing system for an electric vehicle comprises: an electric vehicle charger to photograph a license plate of an electric vehicle by a camera to read a license plate number, transmit a password inputted from a driver to a remote operation company server, supply power for charging the electric vehicle by charging approval information when the charging approval information is transmitted from the operation company server, and transmit charging information to the remote operation company server; and the operation company server to check whether a license plate number transmitted from the electric vehicle charger is a license plate number registered for payment, then transmit charging approval information to the electric vehicle charger in accordance with the checking status, and charge a charging fee to an owner of the corresponding electric vehicle in accordance with charging information when the charging information is inputted into the electric vehicle charger. 본 발명은 전기자동차 충전 및 과금 시스템에 관한 것으로, 특히 전기자동차의 번호판을 자동 인식하여 충전량 만큼의 금액이 자동으로 과금될 수 있도록 한 것이다. 따라서 본 발명은, 전기 자동차의 번호판을 카메라로 촬영하여 차량번호를 독출하고, 운전자로부터 입력되는 비밀번호를 원격지의 운영회사서버로 전송하며, 상기 운영회사서버로부터 충전승인정보가 전송되면 그 충전승인정보에 의해 상기 전기 자동차에 충전을 위한 전원을 공급함과 아울러, 그 충전정보를 원격지의 상기 운영회사서버로 전송하는 전기차 충전기; 상기 전기차 충전기로부터 전송되어진 차량번호에 대한 정보가 결제를 위하여 등록된 차량번호인지 확인한 다음, 그 확인여부에 따라 상기 전기차 충전기로 충전승인정보를 전송하며, 상기 전기차 충전기로 부터 충전정보가 입력되면, 그 충전정보에 따라 해당 전기 자동차의 소유주에게 충전요금을 과금하는 운영회사서버;를 포함하여 구성된다.
