Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a very thick steel plate and a casting slab for a very thick steel plate, which have excellent properties in the central part. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the manufacturing method of the very thick steel plate comprises: a step of preparing a steel material including 0.02-0.2 wt% of C, 1.0-3.0 wt% of Mn, 0.01-0.8 wt% of Si, 0.010-1.0 wt% of Cu, 0.01-2.0 wt% of Ni, 0.005-0.10 wt% of Nb, 0.005-0.3 wt% of V, 0.01-1.0 wt% of Mo, 0.05-1.0 wt% of Cr, 0.005-0.1 wt% of Ti, 0.005-0.2 wt% of Al, 0.02 wt% or less of P, and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities; a step of casting the steel material to manufacture the casting slab; and a step of performing rough rolling on the casting slab through three or more passes with a draft percentage of 10% or greater. The step of casting the steel material to manufacture the casting slab includes: a step of performing a first rolling at the draft speed of 1.5-4.5 mm/min during the coagulation of the steel material; and a step of performing a second rolling at the draft speed of 2-4.5 mm/min after the coagulation of the steel material.
