Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a polyetherimide resin and a method for producing the same. Particularly, the present invention has an effect of improving economic efficiency by reducing the number of processes and input raw materials while maintaining colors, mechanical properties, and thermal properties of a polyetherimide resin in solution polymerization at the same level. The polyetherimide resin includes a repeating unit in which an aromatic bis(ether anhydride) and an aromatic diamine are chemically bonded and a lubricant which is a fatty acid derivative. 본 발명은 폴리에테르이미드 수지 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로 용액 중합의 폴리에테르이미드 수지의 색, 기계적 물성 및 열적 물성을 동등 수준으로 유지하면서 투입 원료 및 공정 수를 낮추어 경제성을 향상시키는 효과를 갖는다.
