METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING MULTIMEDIA SERVICE

The reception part receives a packet including a header and a payload. The control part identifies a control message relating to a package configuration of multimedia content, included in the payload. The control message includes: a control message payload including a table including specific information relating to multimedia content; type information of the control message; information relating to the length of the control message; information relating to the version of the control message; and extended information including configuration information relating to the table included in the control message payload.
