Zusammenfassung:A positive electrode according to the present invention, which is stacked with a negative electrode and a separator to form an electrode assembly, comprises: a positive electrode current collector of a plate shape; a positive electrode active material applied to the surface of the positive electrode current collector; and an insulation coating portion adhering to a boundary between a coating portion with the positive electrode active material applied to the surface and a non-coating portion with the positive electrode active material not applied thereto, wherein the insulation coating portion prevents flow of a short circuit current instantly generated, but allows flow of a microcurrent due to overcharge. An electrode assembly according to the present invention comprises: a positive electrode with the insulation coating portion adhering to the surface of the positive electrode current collector in a boundary between the coating portion with the positive electrode active material applied to the surface of the positive electrode current collector and the non-coating portion with the positive electrode active material not applied thereto; a negative electrode with a negative electrode active material applied to the surface of a negative electrode current collector; and a separator stacked between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. When the negative electrode comes in contact with the insulation coating portion of the positive electrode by contraction of the separator according to a temperature rise, a microcurrent flows between the negative electrode and the positive electrode, thereby reducing a state of charge (SOC). 본 발명에 따른 양극은, 음극 및 분리막과 함께 적층되어 전극조립체를 구성하는 양극으로써, 판 모양의 양극집전체; 양극집전체의 표면에 도포되는 양극활물질; 및 상기 양극활물질이 표면에 도포된 유지부와 미도포된 무지부의 경계에 접착되는 절연코팅부;를 포함하고, 상기 절연코팅부는 순간적으로 발생하는 단락전류의 흐름은 방지하되, 과충전에 의한 미세전류의 흐름은 허용한다. 본 발명에 따른 전극조립체는, 양극집전체의 표면에 양극활물질이 도포된 유지부와 미도포된 무지부의 경계에서 상기 양극집전체의 표면에 절연코팅부가 부착된 양극; 음극집전체의 표면에 음극활물질이 도포된 음극; 및 상기 양극과 음극 사이에 적층되는 분리막;을 포함하고, 온도상승에 따른 분리막의 수축에 의해서 상기 양극의 절연코팅부에 상기 음극이 접촉하게 되면 상기 음극과 양극 사이로 미세전류가 흘러 충전량(SOC: State of charge)이 감소되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
