Device and method for controlling air conditioner connected to kitchen equipment

Disclosed are a kitchen facility-connected air cleaner control apparatus and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the kitchen facility-connected air cleaner control apparatus includes: an air cleaner including a communication part communicating by wire and wirelessly, and a control part controlling the operation of a fan; and a cooking device comprising a communication part communicating with the communication part of the air cleaner, a heating container temperature detection part detecting the temperature of a heating container, and a control part comparing a detection temperature, which is detected from the heating container temperature detection part, to a set value, which is obtained by setting a harmful gas generation reference temperature as the set value, and then, transmitting a control signal in accordance with a result of the comparison to the control part of the air cleaner in order to determine the detection temperature as the harmful gas generation reference temperature.
