METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING STORAGE SPACE IN AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING CONTEXT DATA AND USER PROFILE DATA

The present invention relates to a technology for securing a storage space of an available storage device. Context data representing the surrounding environment of the storage device is collected. A file stored in the storage device using context data or user profile data is selected and the selected file is processed using context data or user profile data to secure usable storage space of the storage device.
