Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an operation control system for a thermal power plant using an energy storage system (ESS). The control system of a thermal power plant comprises: a generator (120), a main transformer (130) connected to the busbar of the generator (120); an ESS (140) connected to the high pressure side of the busbar or the main transformer (130) of the generator (120); and a controller (150) for controlling the operation of the generator (120) and ESS (140). ESS(Energy Storage System)를 활용한 화력 발전소 운전 제어 시스템이 제공된다. 상기 화력 발전소 제어 시스템은, 발전기(120), 상기 발전기(120)의 모선에 연결되는 주변압기(130), 상기 발전기(120)의 모선 또는 상기 주변압기(130)의 고압측에 연결되는 ESS(Energy Storage System)(140), 및 상기 발전기(120) 및 ESS(140)의 운전을 제어하는 제어기(150)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
