Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a shopping support system for foreign language users and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the shopping support system for foreign language users comprises: an output language selection part that receives a user command through an input part of a mobile terminal and selects an output language; an image acquisition part acquiring an image photographed by a camera of the mobile terminal or stored in the mobile terminal; a product recognition part recognizing a shopping target product from the acquired image by using an image recognition algorithm; a product information acquisition part acquiring product information of the shopping target product from a product information database; and a product information output part outputting the acquired product information in the selected output language through an output part of the mobile terminal. 외국어 사용자를 위한 쇼핑 지원 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 외국어 사용자를 위한 쇼핑 지원 시스템은, 모바일 단말의 입력부를 통해 사용자 명령을 입력받아 출력 언어를 선택하는 출력 언어 선택부; 상기 모바일 단말의 카메라를 통해 촬영되거나 상기 모바일 단말에 저장된 영상을 획득하는 영상 획득부; 영상 인식 알고리즘을 이용하여 상기 획득된 영상에서 쇼핑 대상 상품을 인식하는 상품 인식부; 상품 정보 데이터베이스에서 상기 쇼핑 대상 상품의 상품 정보를 획득하는 상품 정보 획득부; 및 상기 획득된 상품 정보를 상기 모바일 단말의 출력부를 통해 상기 선택된 출력 언어로 출력하는 상품 정보 출력부를 포함한다.
