ELECTRONIC APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING IMAGE DATA BY USING AUGMENTED REALITY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The present invention provides an electronic device and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the electronic device comprises a sensor, a display, a camera, and a processor determining a boundary area between a wall area and an area other than the wall area in an image frame obtained by the camera, determining a distance between a wall corresponding to the wall area and the electronic device based on a location of the electronic device determined by the sensor and the determined boundary area, and controlling the display to display an object to be displayed on the wall area with a size corresponding to the determined distance. 본 개시에서는 전자 장치 및 그 제어 방법이 제공된다. 본 개시의 전자 장치는 센서, 디스플레이, 카메라 및 카메라에 의해 획득된 이미지 프레임에서 벽면 영역 및 벽면 영역 이외의 영역 사이의 경계 영역을 판단하고, 센서에 의해 판단된 전자 장치의 위치 및 판단된 경계 영역에 기초하여 벽면 영역에 대응되는 벽면 및 전자 장치 사이의 거리를 판단하고, 판단된 거리에 대응되는 크기로 오브젝트가 벽면 영역에 표시되도록 디스플레이를 제어하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
