Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a secondary battery including an electrode assembly and a case surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly, wherein the case has a shear thickening fluid layer, and a secondary battery module including the same. According to an aspect of the present invention, the secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly; and a case surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly. The case has a shear thickening fluid layer. According to an aspect of the present invention, the secondary battery absorbs an external shock, when the external shock is applied, to prevent damage due to the shock.
