Zusammenfassung:Provided is a composite material for a battery pack case which can improve mechanical properties and safety of a battery pack. The composite material for the battery pack case includes a flame retardant layer and a metal layer disposed on the flame retardant layer. The thickness of the metal layer is 200 nm or more and less than 100 μm. The flame retardant layer includes a laminate in which fiber layers including continuous fibers oriented in a plane are laminated, and a flame retardant resin impregnated in the laminate. The fiber layers are stacked in the thickness direction of the flame retardant layer so that oriented surfaces of the continuous fibers face each other. 배터리팩의 기계적 물성과 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있는 배터리팩 케이스용 복합소재가 제공된다. 상기 배터리팩 케이스용 복합소재는 난연층과 상기 난연층 상에 배치된 금속층을 포함한다. 상기 금속층의 두께는 200 nm 이상 100 ㎛ 미만이다. 상기 난연층은 면내(面內) 배향된 연속섬유들을 포함하는 섬유층들이 적층된 적층체와 상기 적층체에 함침된 난연성 수지기재를 포함한다. 상기 섬유층들은 상기 연속섬유들의 배향면들이 마주하도록 상기 난연층의 두께 방향으로 적층된다.
