Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is to provide a laser welding apparatus and a welding method thereof, which minimize spatter generation during laser welding. The laser welding apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a container in which a base material is accommodated and a liquid material is filled to a height covering the base material; a welding machine which irradiates a laser beam penetrating the liquid material to the base material; and a lens which collects the laser beam. The liquid material may be a liquid carbon compound. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 레이저 용접 장치는 모재가 수용되며, 액상의 물질이 모재를 덮는 높이로 채워지는 용기와, 액상의 물질을 투과하여 모재에 레이저 빔을 조사하는 용접기와, 레이저 빔을 모으는 렌즈를 포함하며, 액상의 물질은 액상의 탄소화합물질일 수 있다.
