Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a cooling roll and a strip casting method using the same, which, for example, when casting a strip of martensitic stainless steel, reduces the temperature of an edge unit of a cast piece before rolling to reduce edge cracking during rolling. The cooling roll includes: a roll main body having both ends connected to rotary shafts, having a refrigerant flow path formed radially therein, and receiving a refrigerant through at least the rotary shaft on one side; and a drum which surrounds the roll main body, wherein a plurality of through holes are formed only at portions adjacent to the rotary shafts on both sides.
