Cylindrical Secondary Battery Including Top Openable Structure

The present invention relates to a cylindrical lithium secondary battery capable of securing a wide gas discharge passage inside the secondary battery. The cylindrical secondary battery comprises: a cylindrical battery case housing an electrode assembly and an electrolyte; and a cap assembly positioned at the opened top of the cylindrical battery case. The cylindrical battery case forms a clamping unit to surround the outer circumferential surface of the cap assembly.
