Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a method for measuring the length of an electrode rod, comprising: a step of forming a hole inside the electrode rod; a step of emitting an electromagnetic wave or an ultrasonic wave from an upper side of the hole toward a lower end of the electrode rod; a step of sensing the electromagnetic wave or the ultrasonic wave reflected and returned from the lower end of the electrode rod; and a step of calculating the length of the electrode rod from the electromagnetic wave or the ultrasonic wave. Therefore, the height of the lower end of the electrode rod can be precisely controlled during the operation of an electric furnace. 전극봉 내부에 홀을 형성하는 단계; 상기 홀 상측에서 상기 전극봉의 하단 방향으로 전자기파 또는 초음파를 방출하는 단계; 상기 전극봉의 하단으로부터 반사되어 돌아오는 상기 전자기파 또는 초음파를 감지하는 단계; 및 상기 전자기파 또는 초음파로부터 상기 전극봉의 길이를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 전극봉 길이 측정 방법이 제공된다.
