METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING CONTENTS IN A PORTABLE TERMINAL

The present invention relates to a method for transmitting content of a portable terminal. The method for transmitting content of a portable terminal comprises the steps of: connecting, by a transmitting side portable terminal, a receiving side portable terminal through communication for control when transmission of content is requested; selecting, by the transmitting side portable terminal, a type of communication for data transmission with the receiving side portable terminal through the connected communication for control; transmitting, by the transmitting side portable terminal, setting data corresponding to the selected type of communication for data transmission to the receiving side portable terminal through the connected communication for control so that the receiving side portable terminal changes setting of the receiving side portable terminal according to the selected type of communication for data transmission; and connecting, by the transmitting side portable terminal, the receiving side portable terminal with the selected communication for data transmission and transmitting the transmission-requested content to the receiving side portable terminal through the connected communication for data transmission. According to the present invention, it is possible to minimize power consumption caused by usage of a wireless communication function. 본 발명은 휴대단말기의 콘텐츠 전송 방법에 있어서, 송신 측 휴대단말기가 콘텐츠에 대한 전송이 요청되면 수신 측 휴대단말기와 제어용 통신을 연결하는 과정과, 상기 송신 측 휴대단말기가 상기 연결된 제어용 통신을 통해서 상기 수신 측 휴대단말기와의 데이터 전송용 통신의 종류를 선택하는 과정과, 상기 송신 측 휴대단말기가 상기 선택된 데이터 전송용 통신의 종류에 대응되는 설정 데이터를 상기 연결된 제어용 통신을 통해서 상기 수신 측 휴대단말기로 전송하여, 상기 수신 측 휴대단말기가 선택된 데이터 전송용 통신의 종류에 대응되게 상기 수신 측 휴대단말기의 설정을 변경하는 과정과, 상기 송신 측 휴대단말기가 상기 수신 측 휴대단말기와 상기 선택된 데이터 전송용 통신을 연결하고, 상기 연결된 데이터 전송용 통신을 통해서 상기 전송 요청된 콘텐츠를 상기 수신 측 휴대단말기로 전송하는 과정을 포함한다.
