The present invention relates to an airbag of a vehicle, including: an airbag cushion which is formed in a shawl shape so as to surround and restrain the entire upper body around the shoulders of a passenger when a vehicle collides, and is deployed to both sides of the passenger; and an inflator that generates gas by an impact detection signal when the vehicle collides and supplies the gas to the airbag cushion. In the event of a collision, the shawl-shaped airbag cushion installed on the back of a seat can be inflated and deployed to restrain both sides of the upper body of the passenger and the front of the passenger around shoulders of the passenger, thereby protecting the passenger. 자동차의 에어백 장치에 관한 것으로, 자동차의 충돌시 탑승자의 양측 어깨를 중심으로 상체 전체를 감싸서 구속하도록, 숄 형상으로 형성되어 탑승자의 양측면을 향해 전개되는 에어백 쿠션 및 자동차의 충돌시 충격 감지신호에 의해 가스를 발생시켜 상기 에어백 쿠션에 공급하는 인플레이터를 포함하는 구성을 마련하여, 자동차의 충돌시 시트의 등받이에 설치된 숄 형상의 에어백 쿠션을 팽창 전개시켜 탑승자의 양측 어깨를 중심으로 탑승자의 상체 양측면과 전면을 구속해서 탑승자를 안전하게 보호할 수 있다.
