The herbal medicine composition for treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy is extracted by mixing ginseng, peony, ostreaetesta, and angelica gigas. The herbal medicine composition for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy is extracted by mixing 150 to 230 parts by weight of peony, 180 to 250 parts by weight of ostreaetesta, and 150 to 230 parts by weight of angelica gigas with 100 parts by weight of ginseng. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition including the herbal medicine composition for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
