According to an embodiment of the present invention, the reciprocating type compressor enables a plurality of groove portions to be formed on an outer side of a suction hole or a discharge hole along the edge thereof, thereby reducing noise generated when opening and closing a suction lead or a discharge lead and improving performance. 본 발명은 왕복식 압축기에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의하면, 흡입공 또는 토출공의 테두리를 따라 그 외측에 복수 개의 홈부를 형성함으로써, 흡입 리드 또는 토출 리드의 개폐 작동시 발생되는 소음 저감과 성능 향상의 효과가 있는 왕복식 압축기가 제공된다.
