Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a piston rod manufacturing method, wherein a friction welding machine is used, and a hollow pipe and an end block are bonded to each other. A bonded portion is air-cooled in the friction welding machine, and quantity of heat transmitted to a chuck of the friction welding machine from the bonded portion is controlled to delay (rapid cooling prevention) a cooling speed of the bonded portion. Moreover, quenching treatment and tempering treatment are performed in order in a range including the bonded portion to prevent slight change destruction of the bonded portion and more conveniently perform the quenching treatment. 본 발명은, 마찰용접기를 이용, 중공관과 엔드블록을 접합하고, 이어서 마찰용접기에서 접합 부분을 공랭하되, 접합 부분으로부터 마찰용접기의 척으로 전도되는 열량을 제어하여 접합 부분의 냉각속도를 지연(급랭 방지)시킨 다음, 접합 부분을 포함하는 범위에서 담금질처리와 뜨임처리를 차례로 수행함으로써, 접합 부분의 경시변화 파괴를 방지할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 담금질처리를 보다 간단하게 수행할 수 있는, 피스톤로드 제조방법 등을 제공한다.
