Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating muscular diseases containing a Davallia mariesii extract as an active component. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition for strengthening muscles or a food composition for enhancing athletic performance, which contains the Davallia mariesii extract as the active component. Since the Davallia mariesii extract has an effect of increasing a size of muscle cells and improving exercise performance ability, a method of the present invention can be usefully used for preventing, alleviating or treating muscular diseases by using the Davallia mariesii extract without side effects. 본 발명은 넉줄고사리 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 근육 질환 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 넉줄고사리 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 근육강화용 조성물 또는 운동능력 증진용 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 방법은 넉줄고사리 추출물이 근육세포의 크기를 증가시키고, 운동 수행능력을 개선시키는 효과가 있기 때문에, 이를 이용하여 부작용 없이 근육 질환을 예방, 개선 또는 치료하는 데에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
