Specifically, according to the present invention, the discarded cherry tree branches can be utilized, and the wastewater containing the heavy metal ions can be treated with high efficiency. 본 발명은 중금속 이온을 함유하는 폐수에 벚나무의 탄화물인 벚나무 탄화물을 투입하여, 중금속 이온을 벚나무 탄화물에 흡착시키는 폐수 처리 방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 발명에 따르면 버려지는 벚나무 폐가지의 활용이 가능하고, 높은 효율로 중금속 이온 함유 폐수를 처리할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
