MOTOR FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

The present invention relates to an electric motor for an electric vehicle, comprising: a housing; a stator having a stator core and provided inside the housing; a rotor having a rotor core and rotatably installed around a rotational axis within the stator core; a plurality of end rings respectively mounted on both ends of the rotor core; and a cooling unit cooling heat of the rotor by using air circulation inside the housing. The cooling unit includes: a plurality of first cooling passages formed inside the rotor core therethrough; a plurality of second cooling passages formed through the inside of the housing; a plurality of connecting passages connected to the first and second cooling passages to form an air circulating passage inside the housing; and a plurality of blade fins formed to protrude on any one of the plurality of end rings and circulating the air when the rotor rotates. The heat of the rotor is cooled by using the circulation of the air. Thus, the heat generated from the rotor can be absorbed. 본 발명은 전기자동차용 전동기에 관한 것으로서, 하우징; 스테이터코어를 구비하고, 상기 하우징 내부에 구비되는 스테이터; 로터코어를 구비하고, 상기 스테이터코어의 내부에 회전축을 중심으로 회전 가능하게 설치되는 로터; 상기 로터코어의 양단부에 각각 장착되는 복수의 엔드링; 및 상기 하우징 내부의 공기 순환을 이용하여 상기 로터의 열을 냉각하는 냉각부를 포함하고, 상기 냉각부는, 상기 로터코어의 내부에 관통 형성되는 복수의 제1냉각유로; 상기 하우징 내측에 관통 형성되는 복수의 제2냉각유로; 상기 제1 및 제2냉각유로와 각각 연결되어, 상기 하우징의 내부에 공기 순환 유로를 형성하는 복수의 연결유로; 및 상기 복수의 엔드링 중 어느 하나의 엔드링에서 돌출되게 형성되어, 상기 로터의 회전 시 상기 공기를 순환시키는 복수의 블레이드 핀을 포함하고, 상기 공기의 순환유동을 이용하여 상기 로터의 열을 냉각하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
