Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a smart electric distribution system using a home hub device and an operation method thereof. The smart electric distribution system using a home hub device comprises: a home appliance including a wireless communication unit for transmitting an operation signal; a distribution board configured to detect a current amount of at least one line to which the home appliance is connected and generate and transmit power consumption information according to the current amount; and a home hub device including a control unit, a wireless communication unit configured to form a communication link with the home appliance and the distribution board through a short-range wireless communication network, a memory connected to the control unit, a speak configured to output voice information, and a unique function unit configured to implement unique functions of the home appliance. The memory of the home hub device stores instructions. The instructions, when executed, allow the control unit to: store the power consumption information received from the distribution board in the memory; calculate estimated power consumption according to the operation signal received from the home appliance; determine whether the estimated power consumption is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold power consumption; transmit an operation acceptation signal which allows operation of the home appliance to the home appliance via the wireless communication unit when the estimated power consumption is lower than the predetermined threshold power consumption; transmit a no-operation signal which disallows operation of the home appliance to the home appliance via the wireless communication unit when the estimated power consumption is equal to or greater than the predetermined threshold power consumption; and output the no-operation information in a voice form through the speaker.
