Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for operating an internal combustion engine including an injector for injecting a cooling fluid into a combustion chamber (101) of the internal combustion engine. In the method, a knocking risk is determined during a current combustion in the combustion chamber (101) and when the knocking risk exceeds a threshold value, injection of the cooling fluid into the combustion chamber (101) is performed during the current combustion. 본 발명은, 내연기관의 연소실(101) 내로 냉각 유체를 분사하는 분사 장치를 포함하는 내연기관을 작동하기 위한 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 이 방법에서는 연소실(101) 내에서 현재 연소 중에 노크 위험이 결정되고, 노크 위험이 임계값을 초과할 경우, 현재 연소 중에 연소실(101) 내로 냉각 유체의 분사가 수행된다.
